Zambia Medical Aid Tour 2022

As some of you know, last year, my pandemic burnout was so bad, I considered selling my Pharmacy.  I looked into many other options to bring back joy into my practice including pursuing additional education or teaching.  I have been lucky enough to lecture in a few places and then reached out to a friend who had previously done Medical Aid Trips.    I am so excited to share that in September 2022, I will be travelling to Zambia with International Needs Canada to provide medical services at a local school.  We expect to see over 800 children in the time we are there.  Together with a physician, nurses and other aid workers we will treat many illnesses and concerns and hopefully leave behind supplies until our next visit.  I have committed to funding the cost of the trip through the pharmacy but am seeking additional donations so we can buy medication (antibiotics, antimalarial tablets, wound care, vitamins and more) to bring with and leave behind.
